The Big Brother star was harnessed to the top of a sky-scraper Christmas Tree for Lakeside Shopping Centre in Essex for their Christmas display. Dressed in a long, pale pink ball gown that Jordan would be proud of, she looked every inch the Christmas Fairy with her flowing curly blonde locks and silver tiara as she waved her wand.
Chantelle was launching the shopping centre’s Grotto Lotto promotion which offers shoppers £1,000 daily for the next 12 days to spend at Lakeside.
Crowds soon gathered below to watch the spectacle unfold but despite a big audience and balancing on the point of the tree, her beaming smile showed no hint of nerves.
It turns out the 27-year-old was putting on a brave face though as she took to her Twitter page to let her followers know that she was, in fact, scared out of her wits.
Excited before she floated up in the air, she tweeted: ‘Who’s at Lakeside? Come see me at 3.30. I’ll be wearing an amazzzzing dress! It’s Christmas!!’
But after the event she admitted just how scared she had been: ‘Most craziest day yesterday being put on the top of Lakeside’s Christmas tree! I was petrified!’
A spokesman for Lakeside said: 'Chantelle did such an amazing job, she was wearing a harness underneath the dress and supported by wires.'
